Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm getting married this October and it is now approaching 9 years since I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 16. I am so thankful for every day and I feel strongly about giving back and helping others to become survivors too.
To meet my goal I am attempting to raise $4,000 in donations before running a half-marathon in Lake Placid this summer. The money I raise will go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help the fight against leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma.
I am running in honor of my uncle David who is currently battling leukemia, Jan Michael Keltz, and all others who are fighting blood cancers.
