About Me
My name is Kate, I'm 24 and graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor's in Psychology, May 2004. I just finished my RN/BSN at SUNY Binghamton and was lucky enough to live with two fellow Geneseoans who were in the same program. We did the BAT track which was quite an experience. If you are thinking about a similar accelerated nursing program you are more than welcome to ask me questions about it :). Nursing runs in my family as my mother, grandmother, and aunt were all nurses, and my father is a doctor.
Other than school, I like to spend time with my far flung family in what amounts to "spy conventions", as every time it is in a different city with all of us coming from different states. We can't get together very often, but when we do we have a good time. My younger brother Eric (23) is an infantry officer who finished Ranger training at Fort Benning last summer and is currently stationed in Korea. My mother and father live in Salem, OR, where they moved to about five years ago from Rochester, NY.
When I occasionally have some free time I love to spend time in Burlington, VT (with my fiance Todd), travel, read (good to do while traveling), go running, go horseback riding, or do almost anything else that involves being outside.
Anything else about me that you want to know can be learned in person.
